About the Year of Learning
A committee of philanthropic leaders are working together to create a deeper understanding of Muslim communities, nuances of funding and specific issues these communities face. The U.S. Muslim population is young, and so diverse that there is no one dominant ethnicity. As such, Muslim leaders sit at the intersection of race, class, and ethnicity while its communities are a microcosm of the majority minority status the country is moving towards.
Muslims in America: A Year of Learning For the Philanthropic Community is essential in creating:
Understanding
Action Towards Change
Long Term Impact
We look to build upon our collective power to open up pathways to foundational giving for Muslim American-Lead non-profit organizations serving in the United States. Join us for the second installment in a yearlong series towards this aim.
