A Quick Resource Guide for Funders and Philanthropists

Muslims are the most diverse faith community in America, with no majority race or ethnicity, and the youngest faith community, with nearly a quarter between the ages of 18-24. While the vast majority of Muslims are American citizens, about half were born outside of the United States. And, a full third live on less than $30,000 per year.

As diverse as Muslim communities are, their needs are equally as diverse. Funders and philanthropists play a key role, partnering with Muslim communities, to help meet these needs.
